     Experience drawn from years of accomplishing the varied real estate goals of many different clients elevates the level of service seasoned agents bring to the table.  John Gurr has honed his skills in handling transactions over two decades,  and has earned the respect of clients large and small who have learned to depend on his ability to represent their best interests.

     Active in the commercial/investment real estate industry since 1981, John specializes in investment properties, site selection and industrial improved and unimproved properties, and is well versed in all aspects of the  commercial real estate arena. 

     Recognizing that tenants, landlords, developers, users and investors need not only expertise but the ability to trust and rely on an agent to execute their needs, John has worked to establish  relationships with clients locally as well as those that span the U.S. including Costco Wholesale, Cort Furniture, Gates Rubber, Johnson Controls, Martin Door, Level (3) Communications, Beehive Clothing, U.S. Holdings, and Utah-Idaho Supply among others.

      A strong believer in the importance of education, John has pursued and earned the most valued and prestigious designations in the commercial real estate industry.  He was awarded full designation status as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Realtors^® CCIM Institute in 1985, and was granted the Active Industrial designation to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors^® (SIOR) of the National Association of Realtors^® in 1996. 

     Active within industry organizations, he has served as president of the Utah CCIM Chapter, trustee of the Utah Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), member and chair of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® Commercial/Industrial Committee and officer of the Utah SIOR Chapter.
